profile The sun was up on a beautiful tuesday morning. It peaked through the shades at Tangerine, who squinted and groaned. "I HATE tuesdays," he said aloud to no one in particular. He rolled out of bed and jumped quickly to stop from stepping on Parliament, who was hissing at him. "Sorry, sorry" He said as he started to pick something to wear. Segment Finalized

profile As he finished dressing, he walked past his closet and glanced at his Salvation Zombie-Chainsaw. It took him a summer of lawn-mowing to purchase. He went to his bedroom window and peaked out. "No zombies today, Parli. Guess it's a school day." Segment Finalized

profile As usual, Parliament didn't have anything to say. Tangerine left his room and went into the kitchen, where his mother was making eggs and Eggo waffles. He listened to their conversation as he slumped into his usual seat, to the left of Chad. Segment Finalized

profile Chad didn't have anything to say either, which was strange considering the morning routine was to belittle Tangerine until the bus came. Tangerine looked up at his brother and noticed something was a bit odd. Something was out of place. Segment Finalized

profile Chad always combed his hair with a part to the left; today it was to the right. If Chad hadn't been such a perfectionist, Tangerine would've noticed that he spelled, "Chad Is Jerk" with his alphabet cereal. But, Chad's cold stare ended that thought. Segment Finalized

profile But that wasn't it. The cold stare was unnatural. Was that a skin peeling from Chad's forehead? Upon closer inspection, it was more than skin, but pieces of pale blue flesh were peeling off. 'MrRrrrRrr' moaned Chad. Oh man..Chad is a zombie. Segment Finalized

profile This can't be real! Tangerine called out to his mother - then realizing that she could also be a zombie, he quickly looked for signs. Relief spilled over him as he saw her making eggs, sunny-side up (Tangerine's favorite). But what about Chad? Segment Finalized

profile Though he loved his mother's eggs, he decided to choose life instead of their protein goodness. "Mom, I think the bus is here, but could you come with me? I have my science project, and it's really heavy." She responded, "just ask Chad, Tangie." Segment Finalized

Tangerine, a redheaded, teenage boy of only 5 feet, doesn't think he is capable of doing anything. Whether it is because of his 6 foot, MVP football playing jock of a brother, Chad, or his lack of talent, friends, or anything valuable. His only friend is his pet iguana, Parliament, whom he calls Parli, and he can never tell if even she likes him. He feels unappreciated and invisible until that one fateful day.
